Jaime walked out towards the forest of his Tribe known as the Mentis tribe. He smiled as he walked, looking behind himself as he did. He knew we was being followed but had no business telling them to back off...who knew, maybe it was a girl he could mess with. He closed his eyes and continued to walk, let out a long sigh as he leaned his head back and reopened his eyes.
He looked to the sky that was turning a tiny bit orange on the edge of the horizon, signalling that it was going to get darker soon. He smiled to himself, he loved the night. As loud and sarcastic as he was, he enjoyed the silent nights within the forest. Where nothing could bother him or try to hurt him like the Crudelis tribe.
Jaime groaned to himself as he thought about the other two packs. Tensions were high apparently, he had only heard this from his close friend, Rikku, he ran a hand down his face, wiping sweat away as it was a little hot before he continued on his nightly walk.
He remembered that someone was following him though, he turned and stopped "Hello?" he called out loudly, smiling to himself. He waved around "I know you're following me, come on out. Let's chat!" he laughed to them. Jaime had the privilege of being on the occasional handsome people within his tribe, there weren't many and he was one of them. |

A rustling in the leaves of the tree just above Jaime could be heard, not the usual whispering of the branches, but evidence of someone or something moving around up there.
"Heya Jam-Jam!" Trick crowed with a laugh as he suddenly appeared in his leaders face. He had his legs looped over a tree branch just overheard and was hanging upside down just in front of Jaime. He was laughing his head off, for no real apparent reason and his whole body shook with it.
Sure he had started out just following his leader, wanting to get a gist of what the guy was like and if he would be any fun. But then he had quickly grown bored of his endevour, after only a few minutes. That was just like Trick, the attention span of a sparrow.
He had left the ground and moved into the trees, following his leader stealthily, or so he had thought but when it seemed like his leader had discovered his presence, he had dropped down to him, as he was doing now. |

Jaime watched as Trick hopped down, he smiled and gripped the Deputy around the neck in a headlock as he pushed his knuckles down into the younger males hair, Jaime let out a chuckle and then pushed him away "Don't call me that. Jam doesn't sound anything remoted like Jaime." he smirked.
Jaime tilted his chin up and looked over at his Deputy "Why were you following me, Trick?" he clicked his tongue at the end of his deputy's name. Though even the biggest trickster in his tribe couldn't get past his senses. He was a wolf after all, the most keen of animals.
Jaime had been on his way to just sit quietly by the river, think about what his tribe needed and how they could recover from a recent attack on Secretum. He gritted his teeth a little and looked back over at Trick, the silent time could wait, he needed to get to know his Deputy and whoever came across him here. |

Rieu felt the sun stinging her eyes and she sighed. She heard Jaime's voice ringing through the Tribe and she peeked over at him. What on Earth was he saying? The Healer couldn't help but to go towards the leader and skidded to a stop once she found him and Trick.
Her tail waved back and forth lightly and she put her hand on her hip. "What is it that you're doing now, Jaime?" Rieu asked, going closer as her liquid amber eyes stared at them uninterested. Though, the Healer noticed the leader's eyes gazing at the river, obviously remembrance of the earlier war. "Is there something wrong?" Rieu asked. |

Trick grinned and laughed, holding his hands up in surrender as Jaime pushed him away. He bowed formally and said, with a smirk still in place.
"Of course sir, your wish is my command."
Straightening back up he tilted his head and grinned wickedly. His only real answer for Jaime was:
"I was bored."
When a stranger walked up her looked her over with a disinterested glance and sighed. This one he hadn't been introduced to. Unfortunately, she didn't seem like she'd be much fun to mess with. |

Jaime sighed as Rieu came into view and started in on the conversation. He looked over at her "I was just going for a walk, Rieu. To sit by the river and concentrate a little better." he told her. Being the new leader, he rarely got to sit alone with his thoughts. Let alone, just venture out to explore without someone coming along and questioning him.
Jaime looked at Trick and sighed "Maybe when you're bored, you should do some hunting or fix some of the broken weapons. We don't know when the other tribes might just think about attacking and i don't want to be ill-prepared for it." He ran a hand down his face. |

Rieu smiled weakly. "Do you want to be alone or want company?" She asked. "Since obviously Trick wants to spend some time with the new leader." The Healer didn't mind whether she went or not but seeing how he longed to think by the river, she rather not. |

He eyed Raiki warily, a wry smirk in place on his lips.
"I'm thinking it's pretty obvious he wants to be alone. He said it like twice."
Nodding to his leader with a more cheerful smile, Trick saluted.
"Right sir, weapons and food. You can count on me!...........Actually, maybe you can't. But then I think you can, but I'm not sure, I think you can, you should, but maybe not, I'm good right, or am I bad? I DON'T KNOW!"
He wailed the last sentence, clutching and tearing at his hair in despair before collapsing on the ground in a pile, sobbing quietly. |

IC: Rieu arched an eyebrow at the Deputy. Odd. "Well then," The Healer started as she turned around with her head over her shoulder. "I guess I'll be going to?" Going off slowly, she listened to and felt the soft breeze that whizzed past her gently. |

Jaime looked down at Trick. Who had appointed him Deputy? Surely it wasn't Jaime. He frowned and ran a hand down his face, this was stressful. The fact that he couldn't count on his own Deputy for preparing for an attack was pretty pitiful.
"Trick, go get some work done." he scoffed and looked to Rieu "You're welcome to come with." he muttered before turning around. He needed to get away to a less crowded place, somewhere to think, to plan, to protect himself.
He let out a long sigh and closed his eyes as he walked. |

Trick couldn’t help it, he guffawed into the ground, his face still leaning in the dirt. His chuckles soon became all out laughs and he was rolling around the ground, clutching his stomach and rolling on the floor.
“Oh man,” He yelped through his laughter, tears were forming in his eyes but this time they were real and born of happiness.
“You are so gullible Jam-Jam!” He howled, still using the nickname his leader had explicitly told him to avoid.
When he finally calmed down and controlled himself he looked up at Jaime, his fiery red hair spread like a halo around his head.
“You want me to hunt? I can get that done, but I doubt we have any warriors to make a patrol. I’ll go on my own.”
After he had, had his fun, his serious side had emerged and he was now ready to serve his leader. Although completely crazy and wacked out, Trick was completely loyal and would sacrifice himself for a complete stranger. Hence, the reason for his deputyship. |

Rieu flicked her ear at Jaime. She turned around and averted her eyes. "Then I will." She replied quietly and approached him. Swaying her tail back and forth, she look at th direction of the river. "There'll be plenty if herbs there as well. It'll help soon enough." Rieu muttered quietly, not really caring whether Jaime heard or not. The new leader was young and keen but unexperienced. Though, the Healer believed that he'll be a great leader. |

Jaime watched Trick laugh at his supposed joke. He blinked a few times as Trick said he would get to work right away and find people to patrol with. Jaime smiled and nodded "Do your best, i'm sure you'll find a few. Even just bringing one person is better than being alone." he added the last part before looking over to Rieu as she started walking. He nodded and caught up, walking towards the river.
Chances are, Rieu would be picking herbs that she needed and he could sit where he usually sat and thought about things. He looked straight ahead as they walked, he could just smell the clean and clear water as they got closer. |

Trick rolled over onto his stomach but made no effort to get up.
He watched with a cheery grin as his leader and healer strolled off together.
"Bye! I'll be fine!"

When Rieu reached the river, she immediately went to pick up herbs. There was plenty but she didn't need many of this kind so grabbing a few, she put it in her pocket afterwards. "You seem confident as the new leader. Do you really think you can put up with this pressure?" Rieu asked, turning to Jaime.
She didn't know why she asked that but she wanted an answer. |
