Jaime looked at Rieu "I had been Deputy long enough to realize that i could take the pressure." he sighed and sat down at the riverbed "There's no pressure but once in a lifetime, i like to be alone and think about what the tribe needs without being followed." he looked at Rieu again before looking back at the ground.
He sighed "You may have your doubts, and i don't really care. I know i can do this and i have others behind me the whole way." he threw a pebble into the river harshly. |

Rieu smiled weakly. "I know you know that's not what I meant. What I'm worried about is you. But you need to know that your Deputy, me and the rest of the Mentis tribe are here when you need it. Also of course our ancestors. You know best when you speak to them in trouble." The Healer reassured, moving closer to him and picked up a flat stone.
Throwing it, it skidded a few times before disappearing into the river. Rieu picked up another one and turned to Jaime. "All you need is to pick the right one and throw it." She said soothingly, referring to the mental side. |

[color=slategrayJaime looked at Rieu with a look of distaste. People were always worrying him. He let out a long sigh and blinked a few times, hiding an eye roll within them. He looked at the water with a yawn "I've got enough people worrying about me, i don't need another. I can hanle this by myself." he said, his stubbornness showing.
He didn't need everyone in the camp hinting that he needed help. Everything was going completely fine. Nothing bad had happened and when something did happen, Jaime was there to help and solve the issue quickly. He was getting sick and tired of people offering their help when he didn't need it.
He watched the stone skip a few times and he closed his eyes, rubbing his temples. [/color][/center] |

Rieu slightly frowned at him. "But you will need help time to time. Please, the thing I'm worried about you is that you might strain yourself during troubled times when there's us." She told him quietly. 'In other words, dense.' The Healer added in her mind. When Rieu saw him rub his temples, she knew that there was something bothering him. She also knew that he didn't like having help and wants to do things in his own way by himself.
Reluctant, she wrapped her arms around Jaime's shoulders. "Let me stay like this for a while." Rieu quietly requested before closing her eyes gently. |

Jaime looked at her "And right now, is not the time." He retaliated before jumping a little when she wrapped her arms around his shoulders in a hug. What was she doing?! He looked down at her arms and then to her, what was happening? What was she doing? His mind felt scattered and he felt confused. What was this act?
He looked at her with a worried look, the first thought that came to his mind was: Tamari. What would she think? He watched her for a second before leaning forward a bit "What are you doing? Why are you hugging me?" he asked her, he didn't know what else to ask or say. His mind was moving a mile a minute. |

OOC: Lol, priceless reaction. xD Rieu looked up at him and noticed she had a trail of a tear down a cheek. "Stay quiet for a moment." She said quietly before lowering her head and hugged him. She was scared that he would kill himself or hurt himself; she couldn't bear it. 'Confound it! Why am I thinking something so horrible, the worst of the worst of Jaime?' The Healer thought, letting out an accidental sob.
Rieu sniffed quietly and slightly tightened her grip around him. "D-don't be foolish. Just, be safe and careful. I can't stand losing someone like you..." The Healer stuttered, a hint of begging in her plea. |

Jaime looked at her and shut his mouth, a scowl on his face though as she hugged him again, letting out a sob. He looked away and around himself. What was wrong with his Healer? Why was she crying and freaking out. He took in a long breath as she hugged him tighter, nearly crushing the death out of him.
Jaime looked down at her and closed his eyes, getting his hands on the inside, he pushed her off slowly and made her look eye level with him "I will never be foolish. But what is all this about? Someone like me?" he narrowed his eyes in confusion. What did she even mean by that? |

Rieu slightly narrowed her eyes when he asked her that question. Standing up as she wiped her tears away, she crossed her arms and averted her eyes calmly. "Just ignore that." The Healer muttered. She didn't know whether she didn't want to explain because he was dense or she didn't want his to know now. 'Why am I acting like this. I'm never like this.' Rieu thought, picking up the herbs she had dropped.
"Are you stil in thought with your things or do you need more time?" The Healer asked, avoiding what had just happened. |

Jaime looked at Rieu with a confusion. He stood up and glanced over her, his eyes full of nerves and wonder. He walked a few steps away from her and into the water, up to his calves.
He sighed and looked down into the water "With all your hugging, i got distracted. If you think of me as more than a friend, i'm going to have to ask you to stray away from me." he sighed. His eyes caught something, his fist flying into the water and catching a fish with only his hands.
"My eyes are focused on our tribe and the girl i've grown to love." he told her, looking to Rieu and tossing the fish over to her "If you don't feel that way about me, sorry for the confusion. But i really can't risk losing her." he sighed and walked out of the cool water. |

Rieu looked over to him. "Jaime, I think of you as a brother, how could I think of you as a lover? Don't play dumb. There's a difference with a hug for a nonblood related brother and a person you love. I don't intend to fall in love." The Healer told him back, catching the fish. It was slippery but she had kept it in her hand.
Rieu didn't know whether she was telling the truth or not. But for now, she kept it as it was. |

Jaime could hear the doubt within her voice, he chose to drop the subject and laughed a little at her stubbornness. He coughed a little and looked at her "Alright, sister. We should gather some herbs and some prey to bring back so we don't look lazy." he chuckled.
His arms flew into the river at an incredible speed, grabbing two giant salmon. He sniffed them and let out a sigh, they smelled so fresh and tasteful. He tossed them onto the bank of the river and continued catching salmon. |

Rieu rolled her eyes playfully and grinned. "Says the one who wanted to stay out here thinking?" She laughed before repicking the herbs. OOC: I think we should end here since Rieu's in the Healer/Shaman meeting thingy. Also, should I PM Tamari about it? |
