Toxyk's eyes were sharp, her senses alert. The dark night air enveloped her like a comforting blanket and she grinned. In the past few months she seemed to have been twisted into something darker than she used to be. Not that she let anyone know that of course. She was still shaman, still connected to the spirits of the God's. However, the light in her eyes had dimmed and she enjoyed some of the darker things in life. For example, hunting. Before the thought of killing another living creature made her cringe, now she looked forward to it. She tried to tell herself it was merely because of the wolf in her, but Toxyk wasn't quite sure.
"Not like it matters." she whispered. No. Nothing really did anymore. Aside from healing her tribemates, she kept to herself most days. Her dreams were haunted by unknown creatures, and she woke up often screaming. Lately she even began to sleep walk and woke up far from camp. And once she'd been covered in blood. Thankfully it was only a deer, but in her heart she worried that it would one day be a tribe mate.
Shaking her head to clear it she forced herself to change into her wolf for. Toxyk's silver-gray fur shone in the starlight and she smiled before breaking off into a run. Despite all the misgivings when she ran everything became clear, and worries vanished. It was the best kind of therapy a girl could ask for. Before she knew where she was headed she'd come to a clearing. It seemed familiar though she couldn't place it. Padding forward she collapsed onto the ground, panting. Then, rustling from the brush made her sit up and she growled. "Show yourself." she howled.

ooc: Of course I was going to enter xD
For once it was pure coincidence that Trick had stumbled upon Toxyk, instead of him just stalking her wherever she went. It had actually been a little while since he had seen her, what with his trip into the territory of the loners and all. Too long in his opinion, as something definetely seemed off with Toxyk, just from a first glance.
Holding his hands up in a gesture of surrender, he flashed her a grin. Just your humble deputy, please don't kill me. Stepping out of the bush, he lifted a hand to pick a leaf that had gotten tangled into his hair, then watched as it slowly fluttered to the ground. Folding his legs beneath him, Trick sat down silently, not wanting to venture too close to Toxyk in case he had startled her, it had seemed so. Besides, he didn't know whether she'd be angry or happy that he was back. It wasn't like he'd been gone for ages, but then, he hadn't exactly told her either. Deary, he really needed to start treating his toys better, before they broke.

OOC: I figured xD Awkward post...go! Lol.
Toxyk's fur bristled before lying flat. Trick. He'd been gone for a while now, and with no word from him of his whereabouts she had begun to wonder if the idiot had drowned. Was he the reason she had become so twisted and cold? She didn't really want to think that, but perhaps that was the answer. But she would never tell him that. For so long he had been dead to her, and to see him now she wasn't sure if she wanted to howl with joy or fasten her fangs into his flesh. Though both seemed tempting, she chose to do neither and she sat down.
She studied him carefully. He hadn't changed much, his hair was slightly longer than she had remembered and memories of running her fingers through it crossed her mind. Snorting she quickly removed the images from her mind. Toxyk wasn't even certain they would ever be like that again. When he'd disappeared she had assumed he was abandoning the tribe. Abandoning her. Now she was full of turmoil and she didn't even know what to say.
So, the first words out of her mouth were practically word vomit. "You have dirt on your face." The words were so simple, and completely meaningless she felt like slamming her head against the nearest tree. But she kept herself still and calm, her tail twitching back and forth. Finally, she sighed. "Where the hell have you been? Do you even know how worried I was?" she growled. Of course not. He probably never cared.

ooc: Ah! Word Vomit! xD
Dirt? Seriously? Curiously, he lifted his hand and gently touched his cheek, where a smudge of dirt lay, staring wonderingly at Toxyk the entire time. Smiling sadly, he dropped his hand and strided over to her, his long legs eating the ground. His arms itched to embrace her, but with this scary attitude, he was afraid of his limbs being torn off. Instead, he placed a gently hand on the top of her head and murmed softly to her. Ah, my little rabbit. I'm sorry, I didn't mean for you to worry.
Unfortunately, right now he needed the nice Trick, instead of the sadistic one. It seemed his friendly persona was much harder to summon up these days. It was a dissapointment to realize, but not a surprise. Kneeling beside Toxyk, he slowly and gently placed his hands on top of hers, looking up to meet her gaze with childlike hope. Please don't stay mad at me. I don't like it when you're mad. Will you forgive me, Toxyk?

OOC: Short reply is short. Sorry. *hugs*
She eyed him warily. His voice was soft, and it soothed her. It was so easy to forget to be mad. So easy to remember how she had felt lost without him. As Trick stepped forward he bent himself down to her level. His hands found their way to her paws. The touch was so familiar, yet foreign at the same time. When he spoke she felt herself give way. Damn it all... she thought. Sighing she didn't even realize she had switched back to human form.
Her violet eyes searched his. Toxyk say just a tiny spark of his old self, and she smiled softly. Shaking her head she muttered. "I must be a fool." Closing the space between them she wrapped her arms around him, breathing in the familiar scent.

a Trick sighed with relief at the familiar arms snaking around him. Leaning into her, he gripped Toxyk tightly against him, needing a solid anchor to sanity and the world. Pulling back slightly, he rested his forehead on her collarbone and breathed out a length sigh, eyes trained on the plain ground.
I'm sorry Toxyk. I'm so sorry. He murmured, feeling this his sweetened words didn't cut it, since he was just being a jerk again. So he had to apologise again, properly.
I'll completely understand if you don't forgive me. Really, I will. Hell, I probably deserve it, huh? He sighed and cracked a small, little smile. How do you put up with me?
Trying to murder his sister, running around killing pretty much everything, doing Gods knew what for ages without reporting back, he'd completely lost himself in bloodlust and pain. Such a weak being.
