Toxyk looked at Rieu. "Well...uh....princess here hit his head. He hasn't a clue who he is." she muttered. Yes, she was insulting him slightly, but she couldn't help it. She was so irritated by all of this it was ridiculous.

Amnesia? How on earth did he get hit on the head?' The Healer thought, looking over to Trick. 'Are you implying that you don't know who you are, Trick?" Rieu asked, worry buried in her voice.
She hoped that he was only kidding that he lost his memories.

Trick turned and stared when another girl walked up.
Why in the hell was he being swarmed by random females?
And why did they keep calling him Trick?
"My name is Eugine, not Trick. You must be mistaken."
He said curtly, not willing to explain it again.

Rieu groaned before face palming her forehead. "Do you know anything from your past life? Like, who you've met, your childhood, anything at all?" She asked, going with the flow anyway. The Healer didn't like the new Trick. In fact, she already thought this one was worse than the other. |

He grinned brightly like a child, the past he could remember easily.
How could he ever forget?
"Yes! Yes I do! My name is Eugine, my mother was Evelyn and my father
was Benjamin. I murdered them both on my sister's sixth birthday, it was
her present you see. I did it for her, but then she screamed. Maybe I scared
her?"
He had a puzzled look on his face as he tried to figure it out.
"Yes, her name was Kai. I remember!"

Toxyk shook her head. If only Rieu knew...but hse kept her mouth shut. Instead, she was seriously contemplating hitting him in the end. In fact, that's exactly what she did. Toxyk whacked Trick upside the head, enough to knock him out for a few minutes at least.
"I apologize Rieu. But...he annoys me sometimes." Looking at her apologectically she smiled. "He dove into the water earlier and hit his head on a rock near the bottom. Plus, the idiot can't swim. I had to save his ass and this..." she said, gesturing to his form. "Is what happened."

Rieu didn't flinch when Trick was hit on the head. Shrugging, she picked up the deputy with his arm around her shoulder. "I knew something stupid like this would happen. Don't worry." She replied with a faint grin that hasn't been there for a while. Feeling better, the Healer looked over to Toxyk.
"Maybe we should go back." Rieu advised wearily. |
