It's Already Over, Now (Trick)

So much was on Toxyk's mind, she wasn't sure what she was doing anymore. She needed calm. Time alone. A way to release herself without being around anyone else. And, a nice trip to the lake sounded perfect for just that.

Walking through the forest she kept her ears pricked for the sounds of someone following. She knew Trick well enough to know how silent he was, but that didn't stop her from trying. Flicking her tail back and forth she smiled as the lake came into view.

On the far side a small waterfall flowed, it's crystalline waters sparkling in the sunlight. Grinning she stripped most of her clothes, leaving them folded upon the shore. Toxyk retained her halter top and underwear, just in case.

Stepping into the water she sighed. It was cool and refreshing. Diving underwater she opened her eyes to the beauty below. Silver fish flashed about, and plants swayed with the waters flow. It was so...peaceful. Poking her head above the water she closed her eyes, letting herself float about.

Obviously Trick had followed her. Why wouldn't he? She was his.
He didn't near the water just yet, instead prefering to stoop down
where she had dumped her clothes to pick them up. He took a long
second to sniff them deeply, taking in her delicious scent, before
pulling out a lighter and setting them on fire.

He dropped them back on the ground then watched with a delighted smile.
Ducking back behind the tree, he sat with his back against the trunk
to wait for a little while. He considered going in to meet her, but
figured that she may be mad at the loss of her clothes and that he should
wait a while first.

Everything was nice. The sky was brimming with clouds, the birds all chirped away happily. The smell of the lake was great, and the fiery odor of shore was pleasant. Wait...fire?! Alarmed she sputtered about, looking over to the shore.

There, stood Trick. A smug smile across his face, and at his feet, her burning clothes. A list of possible names for him came to mind but she pushed them out quickly. "Why you little shit!" she called. Irritation pricked at her skin and she swam over, walking up to him. Placing a finger on his chest she narrowed her eyes. "I hope you know you're paying for that later. There are more simple ways to get the attention of others you know."

[Trick--->Arien]

His eyes were wide and he blinked at her slowly with a small,
absolutely adorable smile. The picture of innocence.

"But I was lonely, can I play with you?"
He couldn't help but chuckle, casually eyeing the burnt remains out of
the corner of his eyes. Ah, Toxyk was such fun to play around with.
Maybe he'd even learn to swim one day, if it meant he could spend
more time with her, because she seemed to enjoy it.

(How are we gonna go about this anyway?)

Rolling her eyes, she sighed. "I hate your face sometimes." she muttered. "It makes it impossible for me to hate you." Grumbling she shook her head. Looking at the ashes of her clothes, then back to Trick she gave a sly grin. "I suppose I should count myself lucky I kepy my undergarments." she chuckled.

Leaning up she gave his a light kiss. "Of course, I doubt you'd mind."

[Trick--->Arien]

[Hmm. You could always just chuck him in. Or maybe I should jump of the waterfall Tarzan style and hit my head on a rock somewhere. Or you could just get mad and bash him on the head really hard.]

He laughed and stood up, hugging her briefly before pulling back.
Much as he loved seeing so much exposed skin on her,
he also didn't want her getting sick. With a sad sigh he
stripped off his own shirt and held it out to her.

Winking, he grinned crookedly.
"Here, use this. Just don't burn it or anything ok?"

(I don't even want to do this, what makes you think I'd deliberately throw him in?)

Pursing her lips she took his shirt. Inhaling his scent she smiled. "Why not, fair is fair." she smiled. Turning, she twitched her tail across his body before heading to the waters edge. Sitting down she dipped her feet into the water, remembering the last time the two of them had gone into the water.

He followed and sat behind her,
sitting in a stradle position and putting his
legs out on either side. Looping his arms over
her shoulder, he pulled her against his chest gently.

"You know, there's no point me giving it to you if you don't put it on."
He whispered softly, his breath brushing against her ear.

[Ack. You make me sad. What's wrong with angst? Maybe he can only forget for a few minutes before you kiss him. Then skip the whole lengthy drama. Better?]

(Haha. No, we can do it. I'm just saying is all. I say jumping in like a dork and hitting your head would work. Also, I've been held back the way you did to Toxyk. I wanted to kill my friend for it xD )

Leaning her head back to look at him, she laughed. "I suppose." Putting her arms through the sleeves she made a small noise. "Nice and warm." she commented. Flicking her feet into the water, droplets came up to sprinkle on her legs and she shivered. "So. What brings you out here then? You said you wanted to play with me?" she laughed.

[Sigh. You make me sound so lame. You wish for me to let you go then?]

Trick smirked and kissed her forehead before standing up
and stretching. He was standing close enough to the waterfall to
catch some of the spray so his bare chest was already collecting
droplets of water.

Looking over at Toxyk he pushed the hair out of his
eyes and gave her a lopsided grin.
"Who would pass up a chance to play with you luv?"

(Oh no, it's fine I was just pointing it out xD He irked me doing it is all.)

Toxyk watched him stand, his chest glinting as the water hit him. Blushing she looked away. Keeping her voice as even as she could she smiled. "Well, I don't have many friends so I guess not a lot of people like to play with me." she chuckled. Not that she cared. She enjoyed her service as Shaman, but more often than not liked to be alone.

[Because I'm evil and bored and snooty and so many other things right now, including competiting in a state final in a few minutes, I'm going to be lame and piss you off. Enjoy. xD]

Trick was about to reply when he suddenly tripped over an invisible lepricorn and fell in the water.....

(Alrighty. But I won't reply until you edit that. He can fall into the water, but put more effort into it. He's supposed to hit his head and all xD Take your time mmkay?)

Trick wasn't sure what he tripped on, or really how he tripped at all. Usually he was graceful and the least likely person to fall. He could never have guessed that it was in fact a magical lepricorn that had tripped him, the same one in fact that had stolen a certain remote off a certain girl one night. Hmmmmm.

With a startled cry, Trick plunged into the water, the freezing liquid intruding into his lungs as he tried to gasp for air. There must have been a sharp rock hidden under the surface, for the next thing he knew, there was a blinding pain in his head then Trick knew now more.....

It seemed like all she did was blink. A simple motion of eyelids closing, and Trick was gone. Water splashed around her and she stood abruptly. "Shit..." shaking off his shirt she dove into the water after him. Seeing his form floating, she grabbed him, carrying him up and onto shore.

Grumbling about his stupidity, she placed him on the ground carefully. "Again..." Shaking her head she pumped his chest several times, clearing the water from his system. When that didn;t help she placed her mouth over his, blowing air into his lungs. C'mon...
