This heart does drown... the thought flashed through Toxyk's mind. The camp was quiet now, the darkness of night having swept over with a calm ease. However, Toxyk was anything but calm. Her mind was worried about many things indeed.
She hadn't attended the Half Moon meeting, mostly because she hadn't the time having babysat Trick's wounds from self-inflicting. And just a day or two before she'd fallen out of her own tree, hitting her head. No damage done, but it still hurt.
Sighing, she swun her legs off the branch she was sitting on, letting them dangle in the air. I wonder what the night will bring me... she thought. Flicking her gray wolf ears she sat back against the tree trunk, a song floating through her mind.
Quietly, be began to sing, her voice soft and eerie in the shadows."Those times in life we learn to try,

Her eyes had drifted shut as she sang, but she was not asleep. Mostly she was trying to calm herself. Sighing, she continued to hum the song, unaware of anyone who might appear.
