The pale warrior of the Secretum Tribe sat in the middle of the Silver Forest. His eyes were closed as he listened to the wind surrounding him, sending shivers down his spine but also tiny messages through his ears, giving him confort. He sat cross-legged and breathed in lightly and the out with a long sigh. Today was peaceful, he found himself getting less and less time to sit and enjoy the surroundings around him.

He opened his eyes and looked around him, the handsome warrior watching the trees sway a little. His eyes gave off the impression that he may have been blind, but he had perfect vision aside from his right eye which had been scratched once, a scar to prove it. He blinked a few times, he loved this silence and found himself thinking lightly of everything.

The warrior reached up and ran a hand through his auburn hair with a single blue strand in the front. He let out a silent but long yawn before closing his eyes again, listening for anyone or anything else that could spark his interest.

The light image of Victoria appeared from the forest, her cat eyes shining. She looked at her Warrior, and gave him a smile, walking over to him. Her long blonde hair was done as usual, straight down, her bangs even across her forehead. She walked over to him, silently, and sat beside him, criss-cross in he same position as him.

"Hey," she said, not too loud, but not too quiet.

Tanner opened his unusual eyes at Victoria. He dipped his head in a greeting "Hello, Victoria." he said, he was always the quiet type and always addressed people by their name, especially Victoria. He loved her name, it was so proper. Even around someone he knew, it took quite a lot of coaxing to get him to be anything more than quiet. He smiled at her slightly before looking down at the grass. Silence to him was everything but quiet. Beautiful. Enchanting. You name it, he loved it. He gazed back up at her and finally decided to say something "Any news?" he asked her, looking back down like a child distracted by a bug climbing up a stalk of grass.

Victoria smiled and shook her head, shrugging. Tanner was much different than the other guys she knew. He was more polite... And simple. Her blue eyes twinkled a little, and she smiled once more.

"How are you, Tanner?"

Tanner watched her reply to his question with a shake of her head and a shrug. No news was definitely common this time of year, the tribes had settled down a little but he couldn't help but feel anxious about the Crudelis pack, they were known to be cruel, ruthless and disgusting unlike the Secretum pack. He sighed and looked down at the ground again before looking back up to Victoria as she asked him how she was, Tanner smiled.

The warrior's smile was very calming as he gazed up at her "I'm better. Still recovering from last moon." he replied to her, keeping it short. He didn't want to talk about what has happened. Tanner looked up at her with curious eyes "Yourself, Victoria?" he asked, his medium-pitched voice was full of interest, it held a sincere tone to it.

Victoria was someone dear to his as she was his closest friend, she wasn't like the other people that looked to pry things out of him forcefully and get him out of his comfort zone. She liked him just the way he was.

Ooc; Okay. Maybe... The Tribes could've had like a huge battle skirmish and you got hurt? And like... People died? Haha I'm not very creative.

"Umm... The same, I suppose," she answered, giving him another smile, only this one was a bit sad. She had lost her father in the battle, therefore becoming Leader. Even though that was the case, she still grieving.

Tanner frowned, as she smiled sadly at him. He could tell that she was suffering. She'd lost her father in the battle and had been forced to take leadership of the tribe. He felt himself grind his teeth a little. He sighed and looked down "I'm sorry about your father." he told her, rubbing down his right forearm, a tribal blade had run through it and if it had not been for her father, it would have been worse. He had calmed Tanner down and covered for him before being killed by Tanner's attacker.

Tanner couldn't help but feel like he was to blame for Victoria's loss. Did she know that he had been the cause? How much had she seen of the battle? He bit his lip and ran a hand down his face with a sigh, his arm was killing him, he still wasn't sure if it would function the same. He had seen his own bone and then he had panicked and fallen down, slipping in the blood of his friends.

Tanner closed his eyes and winced a little, he didn't want to think about it, he could feel his heart race as he did before he pushed it away with a loud groan. He was trying to suppress everything that hurt him. He looked up at her "I'm so sorry." he apologized again, his eyes turning to his jaguar's as his emotions seemed to take over, he looked like a kicked puppy. His eyes full of hurt and apologies, his head dipped low but looking up at her. He looked like he was on the verge of a breakdown.

Victoria leaned over, and gave him a kiss on the forehead. "It wasn't your fault, I know that," she said, giving him a nod.

She stood up, her emotions running high because of her father, and changed. She was now a lioness, and turned to her friend, sitting back down in front of him.

Tanner closed his eyes when she leaned over and gave him a kiss on his forehead. His furrowed brows, his contorted face because of stress immediately melted away when she told him that it wasn't his fault. Her voice set him straight, it always did.

He jumped, his eyes opening up as he felt her leaning away, hinting that she was going to leave. He sighed as she changed to her lioness form. She was lucky that she knew when her form was going to take over. He was always surprised when he felt his stomach knot up and then before he knew it, he was a jaguar. He could feel his pupils returning to normal as she sat back down in front of him.

Tanner watched her closely, he was new to her feline form. Could she understand him in this form? They were different species of cat so maybe not. He let out another sigh and looked down before looking back up at her "Do you understand me in that form?" he asked, cocking his head to the side a little, his eyes full of curiosity.

Ooc; Haha good. That's what I was going for.

She nodded, a little scared to talk. Her fellow animals understood her when she talked, but she had never tried to talk to someone who was in human form. She swallowed air, and gulped once, opening her mouth.

For some reason, she felt the need to roar, and she did so, rather loudly.

Then, she tried to talk. "Can you understand me?" she asked, the words coming out clearly.

Tanner watched her with curious eyes as she let out a roar. Was that suppose to mean something? He shook his head a little as his ears rang before she started to talk, which he could understand. He nodded "Crystal clear." he replied with a smile to her.

He itched the scar above his right eye and looked at her "Where do you suppose the others are?" he asked her, curious to know. He looked around the forest, his crystal blue eyes reflecting the forest within his irises. He wondered how many had been killed in the battle, how many they had been able to fend off before being taken down completely. He felt his eyes become like a jaguar's as he felt himself become sad again, thinking of the death of his friend Mari.

"Not sure..." she said, looking into his eyes, which looked sad again. If an wasn't a lion, she would give him another kiss, or lean her head on his shoulder. But she was a lion, so... She just sighed and nudged him with her forehead. A few of the names that died in the battle cpran through her mind; Nuka, Mari, Rory, Linken -her father. Her eyes began to water, and she blinked the tears away. Could lions cry? Not this one.

"Wanna do something?" she asked, hoping to take his mind off the sadness.

Tanner shrugged, the heavy sadness was filling the air. He knew he would have to get used to this if he wanted to move on. He had to remember that it wasn't just him that was grieving, it was the whole Tribe. His thoughts were interrupted when he felt Victoria pushing against him with her forehead. He smiled, letting out a sigh before he smiled a little.

He was glad that Victoria was there, she always knew how to cheer him up even if she didn't talk to him that much. He looked at her as she talked. His brows furrowed, his eyes were normal once again "Sure, like what?" he asked her, curiously. What was there to do? He hadn't really done anything other than make weapons, hunt and help out around the tribe. Nothing fun or new.

First, she needed him to change. His emotions were already running high... So why hadn't he changed into his jaguar form?

She looked at him, raising one 'eyebrow'. He couldn't change when he wanted to, like she could. Or could he? What did cats like? Yeah, that wouldn't work.

"Ugh..." she started to say, stopping. "Can you change first?"

Tanner looked at her "I don't....know?" he said in a puzzling tone. He had never tried to change on command. He closed his eyes and thought of himself looking into his reflection and seeing himself change for the first time, how surprised he had been. But nothing. He looked at her and frowned "Hold on." he said and closed his eyes, picturing his parents, Mari, the death of his friends and family from the cruel tribe of Crudelis. He winced, feeling his heart race as he reached deeper into the memory. He thought he could feel the blood splattering across him as he felt himself shrink down.

He had done it! He stood up, his tail lashing around and he leaned over and gasped for air. Though, it had taken a toll on him. He stared into the ground with wide eyes of terror, wanting nothing more than to cry out, but he couldn't. Not in this state. He just kept letting out small gasps of air, leaning forward.

As he recovered, he looked up at her with a sheepish smile "Better?" he asked her.
