Trick sat down carefull in the grass, crossing his legs without looking at her.
Glancing up at the sky to where the moon was just beginning to appear he smiled.
"Just wait, you'll see soon enough."

Weary she nodded and sat down across from him in a similar manner. The grass tickled her skin and sent goosebumps along her flesh. Looking at the stars she almost forgot all her worries. Her doubts. Her fears. Almost anyways.

Trick wasn't the most patient soul in the world, so he was glad when the moon was finally hanging above them in the sky, having taken what seemed like ages to get there. Under the light of the full moon, the clearing was bathed in silver. As the moonlight touched them, all around shoots were appearing in the grass. Spearing up from the ground, they all burst quickly into bloom, magnificent white flowers that shone and sparkled with their own light. Trick didn't look at Toxyk, instead keeping his eyes on the moon as the clearing bloomed around them.

A squeak came form the Shaman as the blooms burst. Eyes wide she looked around, her eyes filled with moonlight. A little gasp escaped her as she realized what happened and she plucked a single flower from its roots, looking at it in wonder.
"This. What are these?" she asked, her eyes never wavering from the flower. Who would've thought Trick to know something like this existed. she thought silently. He seemed to rugged to even be caught dead near something like this, but she smiled at the thought.

He chuckled at her surprise and leaned forward to pluck the flower from her grasp.
Twirling it around his fingers for a moment he studied the flower before tucking it into Toxyk's hair.
"They're Moon Lillies, they only bloom on the full moon."
He hoped she didn't think him foolish for bringing her here.
(have to go swim for a while)

Blushing she looked away from him. "Moon lilies. Fascinating." she breathed. Her mind went through of all the flowers she'd ever encountered, but these were foreign. The Shaman side of her wondered if they might produce any medicinal uses, but the normal side wanted to bathe in their scent. Shaking her head she smiled. "Trick, you are an odd one. Just when I think I have you pegged you veer off into the opposite direction. It's quite frustrating."

He laughed and leaned forward, bracing his arms on his knees.
" Think of me as a personal challenge then, you win when you can finally figure me out ok?"
He smiled gently and blinked, never taking his eyes off her.

Toxyk chuckled. "Right. That shouldn't be hard." she purred, sarcasm dripping from her voice. Flopping back she laid on the ground, the white blossoms surrounding her. Staring at the sky she let out a breath. "You're not going to make this is, are you?"

He laughed and shifted over so that he could lie down beside her, keeping on his side so that he could look down at her face.
"No, what would be the fun in an easy win like that?"
He began to gently run his fingers through her hair as he watched her.

Giving him a sidelong glance, she rolled her eyes. "I suppose. And I do enjoy puzzles." she mused. But I'm afraid of what might lie dormant beneath your exterior. she thought. Ignoring the thought for now she shifted closer to Trick. "So. Neither of us are close to our family. You like the color white, don't dream, are afraid of nothing and was loved only once." Blinking she sighed. "Now I'll need to fill in all of those wonderful gaps you left for me. Though I suppose I left enough for you to fill in as well." she murmured.

He chuckled darkly and grinned down at her.
"True, there are a lot of gaps. But I'll learn about you just as I'm sure you'll learn about me."
Of course he wasn't sure if this was a good thing or not, and he still had the possible chance of running to keep her safe that he harboured in the back of his mind.
Putting it out of thought he kissed her forehead gently.
"Ask away my little rabbit, I'll answer if I can. If you want to that is." |

Shrugging, she let her gaze follow to Tricks. "I'm not sure. I think we've had enough for the night. I'm content with lying here." she admitted. Brushing her tail across his lap she chuckled. "Besides, I need to get some sleep so this headache will ease."

He sighed and relaxed himself beside her, holding his arms open in invitation. Of course he'd understand if she wanted to be nowhere near him as she slept, especially if he was in human form, but if she wanted him then he was willing to be there for her. For now at least, until things got out of hand. Then he was as good as gone.

Yawning she tilted her head before snuggling into his frame. Grabbing the side of his shirt lightly she smiled. "At least I won't fall from here." she chuckled.

He smiled and kissed the top of her head gently.
"Not literally anyway."
He murmed softly, more for his own benefit than for her own. He had already decided to stay up again to watch her sleep, a passtime that he discovered he enjoyed rather much. It would also give him time to plot in secret while she slept. After all, it was always good to have an escape plan.
