He merely grunted in reply, his lungs still burning.
"Why?" He wasn't sure why he asked it or even if she had hear him, as his voice was a strained whisper. But he had to know, so the quiet word slipped out as a question. |

"Why?" she repeated. The sudden urge to smack him upside the head filled her mind, but she pushed it away. Instead, she flicked his forehead gently. "You're my tribemate idiot, of course I'm worried." she said, sighing. She would be admitting any more than that right now.

Toxyk blinked. Why did you save me? Once again, the urge to smack him went through her mind. Instead she moved forward, leaning her head against his. "You really are slow kitten." Giving him a light kiss, she moved back again, hugging her knees to her chest.

His eyes widened in surprise but he didn’t resist, when she pulled away he struggled up into a sitting position and reached out, having enough strength to grap her wrist and pull her back over to him. He slammed his lips against her greedily and growled.
"Not the answer I was looking for, but who am I to argue?"

Satisfaction bubbled through her and she smiled. "Well, what answer were you looking for?" she chuckled. Wrapping her arms around his frame Toxyk couldn't help but yawn. Embarrassed she looked away. "Sorry."

His voice was heavy with sarcasm but also slightly teasing as he wrapped his arms around her.
